Frankenmarket

Lovely time at this new (to me) market.

It's held in the Cross Street Arcade, 114 Karangahape Road. This was on 5th December 2013.

Here's a fine photo of a friend coincidentally, Jarrad perusing a new Waywin handmade book.

Also, I can bring my case of Waywin to your house or work. Let me know. Email raewynalexander [at] hotmail dot com

Ask me, simple. No call-out fee, no obligation.

New Tiny Titles

New Tiny Titles, shown above and below shall be available when Waywin is at Kraftbomb again in a few months, (those which remain anyway).

Waywin, (that's what her grandchildren call her), is Raewyn Alexander. She needs to adjust to her new job as lecturer at UNITEC, lecturing Narrative Writing there, Level One and Level Two. You may enrol for those courses and not be doing the degree, but this requires a discussion with someone at The School of Communication Studies. Lovely people, just give them a call. Enrol for the Level Two course now, if you like so you are sure of getting a place, (next year). Those who've done Alexander's Creative Writing course at Leisuretime Learning may qualify to do this further course, at UNITEC.

Waywin also makes Tiny Titles with poetry inspired by words people provide.

These small, treasured artist-books, crafted with care make a special occasion, an anniversary or somesuch, artful and intriguing.

All commissioned poetry is checked by whoever commissions it, before writing appears in your Tiny Title. People love poetry written in this manner.  Raewyn Alexander has provided commissioned poetry for many delighted people, around thirty or so, to date.

Receive four to six poems written especially, in a commissioned Tiny Title.  Enquire about prices, happy to oblige.

Please ask any questions you like here or on Raewyn Alexander's facebook, or through her email, at raewyn alexander (all one word) [at] hotmailioio dot com

Thanks so much for reading.

Waywin Update

Many of the pieces on this blog have sold, however I am making new craft all the time.

Please do call over to the house, just let me know when you'd like to see my suitcase of treasures.

Or I shall be at Kraftbomb again hopefully after winter. My new job as lecturer at UNITEC takes a great deal of my time, as does having other people living here and all the extra work that entails. So I need to take it easy on something, and hence my not being at Kraftbomb as often as I would like, recently.

Email me at raewynalexander [at] hotmailioioi dot com to make an appointment, or ring my landline if you are a friend and have that. Thanks for your support of my craft, writing and art.

New Cards

These cards feature collage front and back, while inside they're white paper for easy understanding of your personally written message. Only three dollars each with envelope.

February - Summer Whimsy

Embroidered linens featuring poetry quotes this month. A linen tablecloth with an excerpt from a Katherine Mansfield poem I'd not heard of before, Camomile Tea, also two linen doilies with quotes from Emerson and Edgar Allan Poe. Photos are below.

I also made two larger notebooks with collage covers. The heavy packaging from Christmas presents were useful with those. Such durable boxes that various lovely cosmetics and so on arrived in.  Two new Tiny Titles, from a tea packet were finished yesterday. Do you like the pictures of those new books, below?

I hope to see you at Kraftbomb end of February again, I haven't heard if I am in yet but I did apply. Shall keep you all posted and thanks for your support. Comments welcome.
